I bought the AOC one (that is about 60 - 70 cheaper) and it is a great improvement although the motion blur reduction is supposed to be pretty awesome which the aoc lacks. If you are coming from a 60hz monitor then any 144hz monitor you buy will blow your mind.

If you can afford it, get it.

Some of this information may be out of date as I haven't looked into monitors for quite some time...

I'd prefer frequency/refresh rate over size. Give me a 144Hz any day over massive panels.

BenQ XL 144Hz monitors are great. Good colours, motion blur reduction and they also some features to control screen resolutions and Black EQ. When I was looking into a new monitor, I read that the 27 inch 144Hz models have very washed out colours so just do some reading before you purchase.

ASUS do some good monitors and can get some good colours, but not too sure if they are worth the money without the additional features BenQ offers.

I can't comment on any other brands really. But as Squish says, any 120+Hz monitor will blow your freakin mind man! The BenQ is a great choice if thats your budget

As someone who was sceptical about how much of a difference it would make before upgrading, I can tell you whole heartedly that it is one of the best decisions ever. I have a 110Hz monitor and even that is such an amazing jump.

In the end any of them will be an awesome upgrade from the lesser monitors, but do some reading and research before buying.
That being said BenQ has an amazing rep and I havent been disappointed by them at all (have had 4, all lesser monitors but they are still amazing 3 of them are over 10 yrs old now).

There are some good korean monitors out there but I think I'm the only one that has used one or two in the past. But yeah Benq have some good monitors. Just do some reading/research on them and get whatever fits your budget

I bought an Asus ROG Swift a couple weeks ago as an upgrade from a 1080p 60Hz and as Joel said, the difference is astounding. Providing you can run whatever resolution you opt for at 120+Hz it is well worth the money and helps a great deal in tracking targets
